STYLES

BALLET
Some of our ballet classes for our younger students are currently recreational with no pressure of exams. Students learn ballet technique through imaginative stories and exciting games. If you wish to take ballet exams we do offer graded classes from pre-primary for our younger students up to inter foundation and Pointe classes for our older students


CHEERLEADING
Cheerleading is an athletic discipline practised worldwide incorporating jumps, dance, tumbling, stunts, cheers and chants under the 3 distinct activities: Cheerleading, Cheer Dance and Pom Dance. We have our very own cheer squad the “Kobika Starlites” Our cheerleaders are given opportunities to attend events and perform for the public out in the community.



CHEER ‘N’ DANCE
 A combination of Cheerleading and Dance Fusion. These classes offers the basics skills for dance, fantastic for youngsters that are new to dance!



DANCE FUSION
A high energy class containing a fusion of street dance, jazz and contemporary style.



CONTEMPORARY DANCE
An exciting technique class using a mixture of Contemporary dance techniques and exercises. This class is great for exploring new movement and pushing physical boundaries. Exercises will focus on your alignment, flexibility, strength, stamina and co-ordination.



CHOREOGRAPHY
Learn the basics of choreography including improvising, developing movement and creating dances.



KICKS, TURNS AND LEAPS
A class totally dedicated to focussing on practicing correct techniques and learning a wide range of different kicks, turns and leaps.



WEST END DANCE
Learn dance routines to all your favourite musical hits! Explore new ways to express yourself through dance.  A fun confidence building class focusing on Dance & Drama skills.



KOBIKA YOUTH & JUNIOR DANCE COMPANIES
For dancers who love to perform. The Kobika Junior and Youth dance companies aim to develop performance skills, choreographic skills and confidence. Work alongside teachers to learn and create repertoire as part of a team to perform at various locations and events. This class is invite only.
